David Aldridge is reporting that the Washington Wizards have fired head coach Flip Saunders after their 2-15 start this season. Assistant coach Randy Wittman will take over for Saunders.
After only scoring 32 first half points in Monday night’s loss to the Philadelphia 76ers, the offense was not coming together for the Wizards any time soon.
There are quite a few shots of Saunders at the bench over the past couple of games that screamed “I’m going to lose my job”
