I just found out one of the founding pillars of the Rock en Español in Argentina died from lung cancer yesterday. “El Flaco” Luis Alberto Spinetta formed and played in some of the most revered rock bands of Argentina from the late 60s to the 80s (Almendra, Pescado Rabioso and Spinetta Jade) and continued writing music until his death.
